Senior Management
Claudio Enriquez is the Branch Manager of the NUS Consulting Group office in Italy. Claudio earned a degree in accounting and an Executive Master Course in General Management at SDA-Bocconi University in 2006. Since joining the Company in 1995, Claudio has held a variety of positions including Energy Cost Analyst, Account Manager, and Senior Consultant. In 2004, he was promoted to Group Manager with the responsibility for day-to-day staff management, development of new cost savings areas, and overall client relations. Claudio was promoted to Branch Manager in February 2007.

Overview

In 1973, NUS Consulting established operations in Milan. Starting as a small group of 5 employees, the Milan office has grown to over 35 professionals servicing over 1,500 companies located throughout Italy. Today, the Italian electricity and natural gas markets are liberalized and subject to government regulation. This type of purchasing environment poses many challenges for business managers wherein they must decide whether to create costly internal resources or seek outside professional assistance.

The energy markets in Italy are known for their high number of consortia or purchasing groups, which if not properly administered, can have severe financial implications for its members. NUS Consulting’s involvement with these organizations produce timely and specific pricing information for its clients leading to significant energy cost reductions.

In addition to assisting our clients with their electricity and natural gas purchases, the Milan office performs analysis of various energy performance models enabling many businesses to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in line with EU standards.
