NUS x SARIA Food & Pharma

NUS and SARIA Food & Pharma have completed a new global agreement for the delivery of strategic EMS across EMEA, APAC, NORAM, and LATAM.
NUS and SARIA Food & Pharma have completed a new global agreement for the delivery of strategic energy management services across EMEA, APAC, NORAM, and LATAM. Through this new long-term engagement, NUSโs international team of energy experts will support SARIA Food & Pharma on a broad range of energy topics, from data management to energy risk management and sourcing.
The new engagement represents the first occasion in which the three SARIA Food & Pharma Business Units (Van Hessen, Devro, Bioiberica) have centralized energy management, meaning that onboarding required proactive data collection across all major markets, detailed insight into current purchasing arrangements, and early identification (and implementation) of various priority procurement projects.
Reflecting the strong collaboration between NUS and SARIA Food & Pharma team members, onboarding the new engagement commenced at the end of January 2024 and finalized well ahead of schedule. Onboarding was recorded as finalized and completed just 21 business days after the initial launch.
Following the successful, early onboarding of the new engagement, NUS and SARIA Food & Pharma are now exploring options to expand the global program scope and services.
- 21 Days: Global onboarding of this new engagement was completed in 21 business days
- 14 Countries: Onboarding covered more than two dozen locations across three business units operating in 14 countries
- 14,000 Data Points: NUS's data analytics team built a database processing hundreds of energy invoices and capturing thousands of data points during onboarding
- 2 Platforms: NUS has successfully launched two online (energy data and trading) platforms as part of onboarding
- 5 Projects: SARIA Food &ย Farma and NUS identified five priority procurement projects as part of onboarding
