Czech Republic & Slovak
Electricity, gas, CO2, and oil rise due to colder temperatures, LNG deliveries to Europe, and increasing energy complex. Coal remains stable with a tendency to rise as new coal-fired power plants are put to use over their more expensive gas-fired counterparts.
Germany
US natural gas inventories decreased by 134 Bcf for the week ending January 8, compared with the five-year (2015–19) average net withdrawal of 184 Bcf.
