The weekly average price is down from 567.23 €/MWh to 530.22 €/MWh for CAL 2023 and from 265.37 €/MWh to 265.62 €/MWh for CAL 2024.

France Natural Gas Pricing Trends | 10 October 2022

The natural gas market declined last week thanks to a combination of mild weather over the last few days, contained gas demand and very good stock levels (90% on average in Europe). However, the market is still waiting for the negotiations within the EU on the implementation of a mechanism to limit the price of imported natural gas. To date, Germany is one of the countries strongly opposing these cap proposals. The weekly average price is reduced from €172.32/MWh to €152.29/MWh for CAL 2023 and from €120.74/MWh to €113.37/MWh for CAL 2024.
