France Power Pricing Trends | 14 April 2021
Last week, markets opened markedly higher than they had been for the last quote before the long Easter weekend, but closed the week at 55.86 euros/MWh. The average weekly price, on the other hand, remains bullish. It rises from 56.17 euros/MWh to 56.63 euros/MWh for CAL 2022 and from 53.56 euros/MWh to 53.87 euros/MWh for CAL 2023, an increase of 0.81% and 0.58% respectively.

The arrival of the recent cold snap triggered a price hike earlier this week on natural gas markets, before a gradual decrease took place following the announcement of major LNG tanker deliveries and OPEC's decision to gradually increase production through July. The average weekly price has risen from 17.89 euros/MWh to 17.94 euros/MWh for CAL 2022 and from 16.92 euros/MWH to 16.89 euros/MWh for CAL 2023.
France Oil Pricing Trends | 14 April 2021
The oil market remains on-edge following the announcement of a gradual increase in Crude production by OPEC countries in the coming months. The average weekly price of Brent has risen from 54.64 euros/bbl to 53.47 euros/bbl.
