France Power Pricing Trends | 15 November 2022

The electricity market dropped last week. Hydroelectric power production has been on the rise in recent days, which reassures the market, in a context where temperatures have remained very mild so far. Nuclear production remains stable, not exceeding 30 GW of production. The weekly average price shrank from 479.78 €/MWh to 434.28 €/MWh for CAL 2023 and from 279.33 €/MWh to 273.47 €/MWh for CAL 2024.

France Natural Gas Pricing Trends | 15 November 2022

The natural gas market declined last week. Natural gas supply and demand are back in balance. Gas flows from Russia are stable. Demand fell thanks to mild weather (postponement of the heating period), but also a voluntary drop in industrial consumption following the explosion in prices. The weekly average price decreased from 128.05 €/MWh to 114.76 €/MWh for CAL 2023 and from 100.44 €/MWh to 94.18 €/MWh for CAL 2024.

France Oil Pricing Trends | 15 November 2022 

The price of Brent fell last week. Future demand remains uncertain due to rising inventories in the United States and fears of a global economic slowdown. The weekly average price of Brent crude oil fell from 96.37 €/bbl to 94.34 €/bbl.
