The power market remained stable last week. The Baseload CAL 2024 hovered around €133/MWh. The weekly average price fell from 134.03 €/MWh to 133.15 €/MWh for CAL 2024 and from 122.65 €/MWh to 122.29 €/MWh for CAL 2025.
France Natural Gas Pricing Trends | 25 September 2023
The natural gas market declined last week. European demand for natural gas is being kept low by expanding nuclear production and mild weather in early autumn. European stocks are at 94.59% of capacity. In Australia, the strike at Chevron's two natural gas export terminals ended on Friday following an agreement between the parties. The weekly average price decreased from 51.90 €/MWh to 50.40 €/MWh for CAL 2024 and from 47.83 €/MWh to 46.58 €/MWh for CAL 2025.
