France Energy Pricing Trends - 26 July 2021

France Power Pricing Trends | 26 July 2021

Electricity prices on the futures market fell last week, in coordination with the price of CO2. Indeed, the carbon market is in decline: shrinking liquidity, fewer market players in the summer season & growing concern about the deterioration of the health situation in Europe are the main drivers.  The average weekly price moved from 72.98 €/MWh to 72.16 €/MWh for CAL 2022 and 61.74 €/MWh to 60.85 €/MWh for CAL 2023.

France Natural Gas Pricing Trends | 26 July 2021

Natural gas prices stabilized last week.  Despite a still low storage rate of gas in Europe during this summer period (52% of stocks fulfilled against 84% in July of 2020), the German-American agreement on the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline has calmed prices on the market.  Average weekly prices dropped from 25.62 €/MWh to 25.50 €/MWh for CAL 2022 and from 19.50 €/MWh to 19.45 €/MWh for CAL 2023.

France Oil Pricing Trends | 26 July 2021

Oil market prices fell earlier this week, since OPEC members ruled on a production hike to take effect as early as next month. The average weekly price of Brent decreased from 62.99 €/bbl to 60.73 €/bbl.
