France Power Pricing Trends | 27 November 2023
The power market remained relatively stable last week, despite a slight rise in prices on Thursday in view of forecasts of lower temperatures over the coming days, naturally influencing an increase in demand for electricity. The weekly average price felt from 120.31 €/MWh to 116.87 €/MWh for CAL 2024 and from 115.03 €/MWh to 111.33 €/MWh for CAL 2025.

Natural gas prices recovered at the end of the week. Demand for natural gas is expected to rise in Europe with the first cold snap of the season. European stocks are beginning to be drawn down. However, they remain over 97% full on Friday. The weekly average price decreased from 48.02 €/MWh to 46.70 €/MWh for CAL 2024 and from 44.36 /MWh to 43.99 €/MWh for CAL 2025.
France Oil Pricing Trends | 27 November 2023
The price of Brent crude fell at the end of the week. Market players remain skeptical about the consequences of a major revision of production quotas by OPEC+ members, expected shortly. The weekly average price of Brent crude oil decreased from 74.84 €/bbl to 74.53 €/bbl.
