France Power Pricing Trends | 29 June 2021
The electricity futures market rose sharply last week, driven by the rise in CO2. The price of the latter is growing in reaction to the scheduled emission of free nationally allotted quotas scheduled to take place in two weeks time. The average weekly price increased from 67.28 €/MWh to 70.22 €/MWh for CAL 2022 and from 59.09 €/MWh to 60.88 €/MWh for CAL 2023.
France Natural Gas Pricing Trends | 29 June 2021
The price on the natural gas market has been in a perpetual upwards soar in the last week. The demand driven by the replenishment of storage before the arrival of winter in Europe is still heavy; in addition to which there is the tendency for the capture of a significant part of the LNG in circulation by Asian countries. Average weekly prices rose from 22.17 €/MWh to 23.81 €/MWh for CAL 2022 and from 18.60 €/MWh to 19.37 €/MWh for CAL 2023.
France Oil Pricing Trends | 29 June 2021
The price of Brent remains supported by global demand, while the forecasts of an increase in short term oil supply seems very plausible. Last Friday, black gold was trading at levels higher than since October 2018. The average weekly price of Brent increased from 61.05 €/bbl to 63.07 €/bbl.
