France Power Pricing Trends | 3 April 2023

The Power market rose sharply last week. French electricity production remains under pressure as strikes continue at some power stations, as has the drop in wind and hydroelectric production. The weekly average price increased from 187.32 €/MWh to 206.07 €/MWh for CAL 2024 and decreased from 124.24 €/MWh to 132.62 €/MWh for CAL 2025.

France Natural Gas Pricing Trends | 3 April 2023

The natural gas market rose last week. In France, the LNG import terminal in Dunkirk is facing strikes again after resuming operations earlier this week. Measures to reduce gas consumption in Europe by 15% were extended by the European Commission on Tuesday.  The weekly average price rose from 49.80 €/MWh to 53.06 €/MWh for CAL 2024 and from 41.52 €/MWh to 44.71 €/MWh for CAL 2025.

France Oil Pricing Trends | 3 April 2023 

The price of Brent crude oil recovered last week. Iraqi oil supply was disrupted by a conflict with Turkey.  In the US, oil stocks are low, while demand is high. The weekly average price of Brent crude oil increased from 69.48 €/bbl to 72.25 €/bbl.
