France Power Pricing Trends | 31 October 2022
The power market fell last week. RTE is forecasting a 3-4% drop in consumption. Also, the forecast of 100% full gas stocks for this winter gives a good signal. The Minister of Economy confirmed last Thursday the ARENH cap at 100 TWh for 2023. The weekly average price will go from 538.06 €/MWh to 512.13 €/MWh for the CAL 2023 and from 268.20 €/MWh to 265.98 €/MWh for the CAL 2024.

Natural gas market has declined over the past week. However, the market remains volatile during this period as the European Commission continues to consider possible measures to lower natural gas prices in Europe. The perception of a drop in temperatures in mid-November is causing tension in the markets at the end of the week. The weekly average price fell from 136.64 €/MWh to 128.05 €/MWh for the CAL 2023 and from 105.94 €/MWh to 100.44 €/MWh for the CAL 2024.
France Oil Pricing Trends | 31 October 2022
The price of Brent fell last week, before rising again on Friday. Oil inventories in the United States, as well as the continued decline in production by OPEC+ states could cause tension on the supply side in the coming days. The weekly average price of Brent crude oil fell from 94.29 €/bbl to 93.63 €/bbl.
