France Power Pricing Trends | 6 November 2023
The power market fell last week. With the arrival of storm Ciaran in Europe, wind-generated electricity increased by around 20% in one week. Nuclear generation remains at a high level. The weekly average price fell from 135.38 €/MWh to 124.44 €/MWh for CAL 2024 and from 119.90 €/MWh to 114.29 €/MWh for CAL 2025.
France Natural Gas Pricing Trends | 6 November 2023
The natural gas market fell last week. Energy demand, particularly in Germany, is low. US LNG exports have risen sharply in recent days, more than offsetting the fall in cargoes from Egypt. European stocks are 99.4% full. The weekly average price decreased from 54.33 €/MWh to 50.50 €/MWh for CAL 2024 and from 47.39 €/MWh to 45.44 €/MWh for CAL 2025.

Brent crude fell last week. The market is not anticipating any extension of the war between Israel and Hamas, while US indicators are raising fears of a slowdown in consumption. The weekly average price of Brent crude oil
decreased from 83.68 €/bbl to 80.74 €/bbl.
