German Energy Pricing Trends - 22 Jan. 2021
28 Jan 2021
German Electricity Pricing | 22 January 2021
Electricity futures market prices rose last week. The reasons for this included the rise in prices for CO2 and gas and, at the same time, colder temperature forecasts.
German Gas Pricing | 22 January 2021
Very volatile gas prices in the past week led to an increase on a weekly basis. Unexpected maintenance work in Norway, low LNG deliveries to Europe and slumped fill levels at the gas storage facilities were responsible for this.
German CO2 Pricing | 22 January 2021
A rise in CO2 prices of almost 5% in the reporting week was due to significantly higher gas prices.
German Oil Pricing | 22 January 2021
Oil prices rose due to a correction in oil price demand. Remaining concerns about demand and slow global vaccination campaigns against the corona virus put a strain on the market.
German Coal Pricing | 22 January 2021
Coal prices lost easily. Under the pressure of the low gas prices and the high CO2 prices, this weak development of around -2.52% in the API2 CIF ARA 2022 was noticeable.
