German Electricity Pricing | 27 June 2021
Electricity prices rose significantly in the past week - front year 2022 + 4.30% - due to the very strong spot prices as a result of low production of renewable energy and high CO2 and coal prices.
German Natural Gas Pricing | 27 June 2021
The continued tense situation in the gas supply due to further maintenance work on the Norwegian gas network as well as low inflows from Russia drove gas prices up further last week - front year 2022 + 6.17%.
German CO2 Pricing | 27 June 2021
CO2 prices also made a huge leap up in the reporting week - Dec. 2021 contract + 5.88% - the reason was a report that the EU will rebuild the CO2 trading system in mid-July.
German Oil Pricing | 27 June 2021
Oil prices were volatile, with prices rising until the weekend. A continued increase in demand is causing oil prices to rise.
German Coal Pricing | 27 June 2021
Coal prices also rose - API2 CIF ARA 2022 + 3.41%. The recently very strong demand on the Chinese market supported international coal prices.
