German Energy Pricing Trends -  30 Sep. 2021

German Electricity Pricing | 30 September 2021

Electricity prices continued to rise unchecked. The futures market prices for 2022 on September 27, 2021 were 113,91 EUR/MWh.

German Natural Gas Pricing | 30 September 2021

In the meantime, gas prices have also reached new highs. The reasons for this were reduced gas inflows from Russia and Norway.

German CO2 Pricing | 30 September 2021

CO2 prices followed the price increases for gas. A new all-time high of over 64 EUR/t was reached.

German Oil Pricing | 30 September 2021

Oil prices reached a new high since October 2018. This development can be attributed to the recovery in demand. US inventories also hit their lowest level since October 2018.

German Coal Pricing | 30 September 2021

The greatest price increase was found in coal prices. A scarce supply and strong demand from China continue to support prices. The API2 CIF ARA 2022 stood at 149,06 USD/t (+18,25%) on September 27, 2021.
