Electricity prices rose slightly due to stable CO2 prices and strong growth in gas.
German Natural Gas Pricing | 6 June 2021
Gas prices rose moderately by over 2%. The reasons for this were the warm weather in north-western Europe. This reduced gas consumption and ensured higher levels of storage.

CO2 prices also fell this week after an initial increase. Technical trading losses resulted in price losses by the end of the week.

Oil prices rose by over 3% in the reporting week. Rising demand in many industrialized countries as a result of the easing could be identified as the reason.
