German Electricity Pricing | 2 March 2022

Electricity prices have risen sharply. The cause was the Russian invasion of Ukraine on Thursday February 24th, 2022. Power Cal 2023 = 145,86 €/MWh (+5,74%)

German Natural Gas Pricing | 2 March 2022

Gas prices also rose sharply.  The uncertainty of a possible delivery stop was the biggest concern. However, gas continued to be supplied from Russia. Natural Gas Cal. 2023 = 62,277 €/MWh (+18,89%)

German CO2 Pricing | 2 March 2022

CO2 prices fell slightly, following the stock market and independent of the increased gas and coal prices. EUA December contract 2023 = 88,14 €/t (-1,50%)

German Oil Pricing | 2 March 2022

Due to the panic caused by the Russian invasion, the price rose sharply. Oil prices calmed down after it became clear that the oil industry was exempt from sanctions. Brent = 94,40 $/bbl (+0,59%)

German Coal Pricing | 2 March 2022

Coal prices also rose sharply. The fear of a possible loss of coal supplies from Russia was too great. API 2 CIF ARA 2023 = 125,00 $/t (+15,22%)
