German Electricity Pricing | 27 May 2022
Electricity prices fell minimally in a weekly comparison. This was due to lower CO2 and gas prices.
German Natural Gas Pricing | 27 May 2022
Futures market prices for gas also fell. As expected, Russia stopped supplying gas to Finland on May 21, 2022. However, Finland is now importing gas from Estonia.
German CO2 Pricing | 27 May 2022
CO2 prices fell in the reporting week. Since midweek they have fallen sharply on the reaction to the news of the release of allowances by the Market Stability Reserve (MSR).
German Oil Pricing | 27 May 2022
Development of oil prices was the same as the financial markets. The oil price rose slightly by a little more than 1% for the North Sea Brent variety to USD 112.63/bbl on May 20, 2022.
German Coal Pricing | 27 May 2022
Coal prices rose sharply in excess of 12%. The drivers were the even stronger rises in the Pacific basin. China has lifted all coal import restrictions there by March 2023.
