Germany Energy Pricing Trends - 3 Feb. 2022
3 Feb 2022
German Electricity Pricing | 3 February 2022
Electricity prices continued to rise. Prices were supported by higher CO2 and coal prices.
German Natural Gas Pricing | 3 February 2022
Gas prices also rose sharply during the week under review. The dominant factor was continued uncertainty about Russia's intentions in the smoldering conflict with the West.
German CO2 Pricing | 3 February 2022
With the rise in gas prices, the CO2 prices also rose. Few auction offers on Wednesday and technical buying provided additional support.
German Oil Pricing | 3 February 2022
Oil prices continued to rise over the past week. The Ukraine crisis was also a driving factor here. The rise in US inventories played no part at all and an OPEC+ meeting brought no surprises.
German Coal Pricing | 3 February 2022
In the 4th calendar week, coal prices only went in one direction, and that was upwards. Inventories in Europe are roughly at the previous year's level. Bottlenecks are currently occurring primarily with inland waterway vessels.
