France Power Pricing Trends | 19 April 2022
The power futures market increased last week. EDF announced that a new nuclear reactor, Cattenom 3, is also affected by corrosion issues. This situation penalizes the production of the French nuclear park and worries the market actors. The weekly average price has risen from 212.88 €/MWh to 227.60 €/MWh for the CAL 2023 and from 133.13 €/MWh to 151.07 €/MWh for the CAL 2024.
France Natural Gas Pricing Trends | 19 April 2022
The natural gas futures market increased last week. Although European stocks are currently filling up at a good pace, the risks of an EU embargo on Russian gas imports are being considered more and more. The weekly average price rose from 72.37 €/MWh to 79.14 €/MWh for CAL 2023 and from 51.82 €/MWh to 59.35 €/MWh for CAL 2024.
France Oil Pricing Trends | 19 April 2022
Oil prices increased last week. While an embargo on Russian oil is increasingly being considered by the Europeans, OPEC countries are struggling to produce more (no more than 10% of the production increase they had announced). The weekly average price of Brent crude oil rose from 94.67 €/bbl to 98.36 €/bbl.
