France Power Pricing Trends | 2 November 2021
The power futures market followed the downward trend in natural gas and coal last week. Indeed, coal prices fell in the Pacific as China intervened to slow the expansion of the energy crisis. Average weekly prices moved from 134.55 €/MWh to 127.95 €/MWh for CAL 2022 & from 84.24 €/MWh to 83.30 €/MWh for CAL 2023.
France Natural Gas Pricing Trends | 2 November 2021
Following Vladimir Putin's speech, the natural gas futures market eased in midweek. The Russian president announced an increase in natural gas exports to Western Europe starting in November. Average weekly prices surged from 55.80 €/MWh to 52.66 €/MWh for CAL 2022 and from 33.27 €/MWh to 32.69 €/MWh for CAL 2023.
France Oil Pricing Trends | 2 November 2021
The price of Brent crude oil decreased last week. The resumption of the Iranian nuclear talks gives a positive outlook on increased Iranian oil production. The average weekly price of Brent rebounded from 73.18 €/bbl to 73.07 €/bbl.
