The Report contains a strategic and fundamental analysis of the international crude oil market and the NUS Risk Management teamโs initial WTI and Brent price forecast for 2026.
While many of NUS Consulting Groupโs clients are not material crude oil consumers, they are eager to secure our view on the direction of the international crude oil markets (and compare it to those of larger institutions).
Due to the international nature, liquidity and fungibility of crude oil, many of our clients view the report as a type of barometer for global economic activity, general commodity prices, as well as a proxy (loose correlation) to overall energy prices.
This report is intended to be our initial forecast, and we expect to release an update to this report in late October / early November. In our subsequent update, we plan to include a 2027 pricing forecast in the Report. It goes without saying that there are many non-fundamental variables that, if history is a guide, will impact the markets in 2026 and beyond.
